Whitney Houston's mother Cissy has unfinished business to attend to -- sources tell TMZ she's planning a pilgrimage BACK to the Beverly Hills hotel room where her daughter died ... all in an attempt to get some closure.
According to sources close to Cissy, she wants to go back to room 434 at the Beverly Hilton hotel and reestablish a spiritual connection with her daughter ... in order to come to terms with her sudden death.
We're told Cissy plans to pray while she's there -- and just spend quiet, contemplative time in the space.
As one source put it -- Cissy "won’t be at peace until she gets closure."
It's unclear when Cissy plans to return to the hotel room -- but we're told the visit will be soon ... she's currently planning out the logistics.

TMZ broke the story ... Brand was accused of ripping an iPhone out of the hands of a paparazzo in New Orleans Monday night ... and then firing the phone at an office building ... shattering a window.
Cops said they were investigating the incident. Brand has since offered to pay for the window he broke.

Mardi Gras may have come early (or late) for five actresses this year, because they were all arrested last month for allegedly treating an overpass in Georgia like it was a clothing optional balcony on Bourbon Street.
The fab five -- including Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola, Kayla Ewell and Sara Canning from "Vampire Diaries" -- were all arrested on August 22 after cops say they received 911 calls from people claiming a few hotties were "flashing motorists" and "hanging" from a bridge in Smarr, GA.
The police report, obtained by The Smoking Gun, says the lovely ladies were taking part in a photo shoot set up by a guy named Tyler Shields -- who was also arrested that day.
All six were booked for disorderly conduct and charged with a total of $4,000 in fines -- TSG says Tyler paid the whole tab.

It's unclear who messed up -- the stunt-double or the cameraman -- but either way, the camera appeared to be blown to smithereens.
It was all shot outside some building at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh -- which, we're told, is supposed to be Gotham City Hall in the movie.
Thankfully, no one was hurt -- and with a budget of $250 MILLION ... a broken camera's just a drop in the bucket.
Sources close to production tell us both the camera and the cameraman were not injured during the incident -- but if you look closely, you can SEE camera shrapnel ... and fixing those things ain't cheap!
A rep for Warner Bros. had no comment.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's Daughter Wants Conservatorship | TMZ.com
Zsa Zsa Gabor's daughter claims her mom has been isolated and sedated by hubby Prince Frederic von Anhalt and wants to wrestle control from him in court.
Francesca Hilton has hired a lawyer to get a conservatorship, giving her the power to make medical and financial decisions for Zsa Zsa.
Francesca is suspicious of von A-Hole's motives, claiming he took out a $700,000 loan on the couple's mega-mansion and then let the loan go into default. TMZ previously investigated the default and found it was a bank error and it was corrected.
Francesca has been estranged from Zsa Zsa for years.
9:36 AM PST -- Prince von A-hole is lashing back ... telling TMZ, "I did nothing wrong! My wife is in good hands, her doctors and nurses will tell anyone that. She could not be better."
He adds, "Francesca wants her money ... that's all! She has been waiting 65 years for that ... it's just too bad for Francesca that I'm here."
A-hole also insists Francesca chose the worst time to pick a legal fight -- claiming during a news conference this morning ... he's in the process of selling his and Zsa Zsa's mansion to pay for the 95-year-old's medical bills.
